 o    When the matter is purely a matter of law and is not suitable for negotiation, mediation, collaborative law, conciliation and arbitration

  o    Matter of violence

   X  No privacy

   X  The judge may not have any knowledge or expertise or experience with the subject matter of the dispute between the parties

 X  High when compared to all other DR processes as legal fees are high


     REMEDIES

 Court awarded remedies such as specific performance, damages, recession, revocation, penalties for breach of contract and injunctions
